David Holls (1931 - 2000)
Amerykański designer motoryzacyjny.
Pracę rozpoczął od razu w GM pod okiem Harleya Earla w 1952 roku. Pracował przy Cadillakach 1959, Corvecie 1963 i 1968, oraz Monte Carlo i Camaro (oba 1970).
Jego pomysłem są osławione ogony Cadillaca z 1959.
Pracowął także nad designem Opla. Później został szefem projektów przyszłościowych designu, następnie dyrektorem designu koncernu w 1986 roku.
Był także kolekcjonerem samochodów oraz współautorem książki "A Century of Automotive Style-100 Years of American Car Design".

American automotive designer. He joined GM design under Harley Earl in 1952 and worked on the 1959 Cadillac,
1963 and 1968 Corvette, 1970 Monte Carlo and 1970 Camaro.
The famous tailfins of '59 Cadillac were designed by him.
After a stint at Opel, Holls became head of advanced design, then director of corporate design in 1986.
Holls was also a car collector, and a co-author of the book "A Century of Automotive Style--100 Years of American Car Design".
