Kolejny Cadillac z największego miasta Nowej Anglii, tym razem jest to model Eldorado 9 generacji, która obejmuje lata 1979-1985. Nie jestem pewien czy to model 1984, czy 1985? Po zdjęciach chyba nie da się tego stwierdzić, za to na pewno da się stwierdzić, że jest to kabriolet! Samochód stał zaparkowany na North St. w dzielnicy North End.
Ostatni seryjny model Eldorado w wersji „convertible” zjechał z linii produkcyjnej w 1976 roku, i był to w ogóle ostatni amerykański kabriolet na rynku. Od tej pory, jeśli ktoś nie mógł żyć bez wiatru we włosach, mógł zamówić sobie kabriolet w jednej z niezależnych firm zewnętrznych, np. w “Hess & Eisenhardt”.
Do produkcji kabrioletów powrócono dopiero w 1982 roku – był to Chrysler LeBaron. Pierwszym po przerwie kabrioletem w stajni Cadillaca było właśnie Eldorado z roku 1984.

Another Cadillac in the largest city of New England, this time it's Eldorado model of 9th generation, which covers the period 1979-1985. I'm not sure if this one was made in 1984 or 1985? It might be impossible to tell the model year from the pictures, but for sure it can be determined, that this car is a convertible! The car was parked on North St. in the North End.
Last Eldorado convertible rolled off the production line in 1976, and it was the last American convertible on the market. From now on, if someone could not live without wind in his hair, he could order a rag top in one of the independent, third-party companies, such as "Hess & Eisenhardt". “Official” production of convertibles returned in 1982 - it was Chrysler LeBaron.
