It is very significant car. These trucks were built on an order of a customer which was so pleased with the design of Chrysler Airflow that he proposed that the concept be applied to trucks to be built for the tanker he maintained. He led a petroleum firm and he thought it would be great advertsing for his company. Dodge built the Airflow trucks for years 1935-1939.

   Most of them were tanker trucks but also beer and ice trucks are known. Probably the total production have been over 200 units. Ca. 10-15 Dodge Airflows survive today.

   Jest to bardzo szczególny samochód. Te ciężarówki zostały zbudowane na zamówienie pewnego klienta, któremu się podobał wygląd Chryslera Airflow i poprosił by ten wygląd przenieść na cysterny, które on wówczas utrzymywał. Klient prowadził wówczas firmę naftową i był przekonany, że takie cysterny byłyby świetną reklamą dla jego firmy. Dodge budował te cysterny w latach 1935-39.

   Większość modeli Airflow stanowiły cysterny, ale zdarzyły się też Airflowy do przewozu piwa i lodów. Prawdopodobnie cała produkcja wyniosła ponad 200 sztuk. Szacuje się, że do dzisiaj przetrwało 10-15 egzemplarzy tego samochodu.
