Alfred P. Sloan

 

  Alfred P. Sloan (1875 – 1966) was an American business executive in the automotive industry. He was a long-time president of General Motors Corporation. He helped lead (and grow) GM from the 1920s through the 1950s. He invented the concept of the annual model change. He attached importance to brand architecture, industrial and automotive design.

  Alfred P. Sloan (1875 - 1966) był amerykańskim menedżerem w przemyśle motoryzacyjnym. Był długoletnim prezesem General Motors. Kierowal GM od lat 20-tych do lat 50-tych XX wieku. Za jego kadencji GM bardzo się rozwinęło. Jest autorem koncepcji corocznej zmiany modelu. Przywiązywał wielką wagę do rangi marki, wzornictwa przemysłowego i motoryzacyjnego.
