Pomysł Bertonego polegał na schowaniu przednich świateł i zdominowaniu grilla chłodnicy poprzez emblemat Mustanga. Samochód został pokazany na imprezie New York International Automobile Show i był jednym z najbardziej obleganych samochodów.
Scott Bailey, the publisher of the prestigieous car magazine "Automobile Quarterly" invited the designer Nuccio Bertone to design this popular sports car. Bailey wanted to show how different can be the ideas of known designers.
The Bertone's idea was to dispappear the front lights and to dominate the radiator grill by the Mustang emblem. The car was displayed at the New York International Auto Show and was one of the most admired cars.
