This is very particular Toronado. It was a kustom made by George Barris (1925-2015).
Barris built four similar Toronados for the 1967 Canadian Expo. Only two are known to survive.
The price of $7,701 was astronomical in these times. Now, the starting bid didn't meet the reserve amount ($227,770).
